Through advocacy, collaboration, and providing items of comfort to sickle cell warriors, we aim to make lasting connections, promote proper health care for patients, and provide resources for both warriors and their families. Our nonprofit is driven by a vision of hope, resilience, and a future where sickle cell disease is better understood and ultimately cured.
My name is Zondra S. Johnson-King, and I’m just an ordinary person with a giant heart who is doing extraordinary things. My passion has always been to help others. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. I am an educator and an entrepreneur (Two Fly Chicks, LLC). Stepping out on faith has always been easy. Sometimes I sank but never drowned. Other times I floated to the top and am still floating. I believe that opportunity is always obtainable; you just have to be standing in the right place at the right time.
